Q & A
How is an Advanced Integrative Energy Healing session?
Client lies down on massage table fully clothed and body well supported or sits in a chair if lying down is not comfortable. Practitioner works by laying hands on or off the body. Practitioner may use awareness dialogue throughout the session.
Sessions could be 60 or 90 minutes. After the session, your practitioner provides resources for you to take home to maintain the energy shifts through AIEH.
Additional Info: In the first session, there will be an intake part that takes 15 minutes for assessment and setting goals. You will be asked to sign a consent form.
Confidentiality: All the information taken and the sessions are kept confidential based on professional standards and code of ethics.
How many sessions would I need?
The number of treatments you receive will depend on your Intention for Healing, Transformation and the Issue that will be worked on.
If your aim is relaxation, one session monthly would be enough. In case of complex or chronic conditions and transformation 5 - 8 consecutive session would be indicated.
Is AIEH the same as Reiki or Therapeutic Touch?
There are several energy-based modalities. Their common ground is working with energy, on the other hand, each has different techniques and specific training requirements.
Certified Advanced Integrative Energy Healing Practitioners complete Langara College 2 year certification program of 700 hours including 300 documented client treatments, minimum of 100 treatments in supervised health care settings, including hospitals and clinics.
