Q & A
How many sessions would I need?
It depends on the person and the issue to work on. Most issues can be resolved in one to three sessions, yet for some complicated problems such as relationship issues, more sessions would be necessary.
Is Regression Therapy suitable for me?
There are some mental conditions and medications that are contra-indicated for regression therapy. For some people, regression therapy may not work. Regression Therapy is a therapeutic and transformational approach based on self-discovery and requires taking responsibility for change. Being open minded and being open in cooperation with the therapist is essential in this therapy.
What must I do before and after the session?
It is advised not to take alcohol before and after the session within 24 hours, and it is favorable to increase water intake after the session. Please give yourself time to rest and digest the experience after the session and do not schedule demanding activities.
Observing and taking notes about the changes about yourself and effects after sessions would be helpful to follow up the therapy process.
What happens in a regression therapy session?
In the first session, there will be an intake part that takes 15 to 30 minutes to get the background information and to determine the problem to work on. You will be signing a consent form.
Each session is unique and led by the client. Sessions usually take between 2 to 3 hours. The client lies down or sits, and therapist enables the client to go into an altered state of awareness being aware of the present moment, and together they start to explore the root causes of the experience in the past to solve the problem.
The client remembers the entire experience after the session.
